Train strike called off

Colombo (News 1st) -  The trade union action which was launched by locomotive engine drivers in the morning (February 22) was called off a few hours ago. The locomotive engine drivers reached this decision following a discussion with Dilantha Fernando, the General Manager of Railways. The trade union action occurred due to a violation of the agreements in rectifying the amendments of the schedule circular.
