19 year old boy murdered in Horagolla

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 19-year-old boy has been murdered with a sharp object at around 8.00 pm last night (February 18) in Horagolla, along the Ganemulla- Ja Ela road. The Police noted that the youth had been first attacked with an iron pole and later stabbed with a sharp weapon when he was travelling on his motorbike. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Kudabellatha, Ganemulla. The suspects behind the crime have been identified and investigations are underway to arrest them. The police also stated that the murder occurred due to a personal dispute. The remains of the victim lie at the Gampaha hospital morgue.
