Case against Chanuka Ratwatte postponed till March

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The court case against six suspects including Chanuka Ratwatte who had established a finance company (Entrust Securities PLC) without the approval of Central Bank is to be taken up on the 25th of March as per the order of Colombo Magistrate today (February 11). This order was given due to the absence of a defendant, Isira Dharmapiriya due to a medical condition. The attorney general had indicted the defendants in accordance with the companies act. The defendants are currently out on bail.
