Dayasiri Jayasekara appointed as the SLFP General Secretary

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The central committee meeting of the SLFP chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena ended a short while ago. Speaking to the media, MP Nishantha Muthuhettigama noted that Dayasiri Jayasekara was appointed as the General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party on a temporary basis. The meeting was held this evening at the President's official residence.
