Students at Rajarata University on class strike

Colombo (News1st): All students of the Rajarata University, except those at the Medical faculty, have launched a class strike. This is over several demands including the annulment of a class suspension imposed on16 students. The students charge that the suspension has been in effect for 317 days now. News1st attempted to contact the Vice Chancellor of the University in this regard, however, he did not respond.
