Army Major arrested with over 8kg of Kerala Ganja

Colombo (News1st) - A Major of the Sri Lanka Army was arrested today in close proximity to the Kumbichankulam Wewa in Anuradhapura for the transportation of Cannabis. According to the Police, the suspect was arrested by the Anuradhapura police crimes investigation division based on a tip-off. The police took into custody a total of 8.2kg of kerala ganja and the vehicle used to transport it. The suspect is a 45 year old resident of Anuradhapura and is due to be presented before the Anuradhapura Magistrates court.
