Return of the fuel price formula

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera says that the fuel price formula will be reinstated. Assuming duties, Minister Samaraweera confirmed that the Cabinet has approved the Vote on Account for a period of four months and that it will be presented to Parliament tomorrow (December 21). When questioned whether there will be an increase or decrease in fuel prices the newly appointed Finance Minister replied with a simple "that depends on the fuel price formula."
