10 hour water cut for Kandy tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) notes that several areas of Kandy will experience a 10-hour water cut from 7.00 am tomorrow (December 19). Thereby, the water supply for Buluwamuduna, Digana, Victoria Road, Gonawala Road, Malpana Road, Kengalla, Manikhinna, Dambarawa, Pilawala, Mahawaththa, Bodigala, Amunugama, Gunnapaana, Panwila will be disrupted till 5.00 pm tomorrow. The NWSDB confirmed that the water cut was due to an essential maintenance work on the Araththana water treatment plant.
