Five arrested for exam fraud

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Five people have been arrested on charges of impersonating candidates during the Ordinary Level Mathematics exam paper. In one incident, a 25-year-old male had sat for the paper on behalf of a 24-year-old candidate at a school in Thihagoda, Matara. In another incident, a 40-year-old candidate and a 45-year-old individual who sat for the exam on behalf of him were both arrested in a school in Thanamalvila. A 19-year-old boy was also arrested in Kalmunai on the same charge during the mathematics examination paper.
