Heavy rainfall : Spill gates of several reservoirs opened

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The spill gates of the Dedura Oya, Ranjanganaya, Uduwalawa, and Lunugamwehera reservoirs have been opened. Assistant Director of the Disaster Mangement Centre Pradeep Kodippili said that all locals residing in the lowlands should be cautious. Rainfall of over 100mm has beed forecasted for several areas of the Wayamba, Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and North Central provinces.
