Mahinda Rajapaksa to take Prime Minister's seat in Parliament

Colombo (News1st): The Speaker's media unit stated that the seat reserved for the Prime Minister will be allocated for Mahinda Rajapaksa when the Parliament convenes on the 05th of October. It was noted that this is due to the gazette notification issued claiming Mahinda Rajapaksa as the Prime Minister. All state employees are bound to comply with the latest gazette notification. Therefore, the  Speaker's media unit said the government officials have implemented measures to facilitate this process. The Speaker has further clarified that he will not intervene in the process of state officials providing the entitled facilities to the Prime Minister.
