President's Counsel Shibly Aziz passed away at the age of 75

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President's Counsel and Former Attorney General, Mohamed Shibly Aziz has passed away at the age of 75. He passed away this morning (October 08) at a Private hospital while receiving treatment. Aziz served on a number of national commissions and statutory bodies and represented Sri Lanka in several international events. The funeral will take place at 5.30 pm at the Jawatte Muslim burial grounds.
