COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Maithripala Sirisena left for Seychelles this morning (October 08).
Operations manager at the Katunayake international airport confirmed that the president departed at 2.10 am today.
The President is traveling with a delegation of 18 members.
The Head of State is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with the Seychelles President and the Vice President. President Sirisena will also meet with the Sri Lankans living in Seychelles.
The State Ceremony to welcome President Maithripala Sirisena will be held this evening (October 08).
