Two arrested with 52 g of Heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspects have been arrested for the possession of 52 grams of Heroin in Enderamulla and Hunupitiya. According to the police, 37 grams of heroin had been discovered when examining a motorbike rider based on a tip-off received by the Kiribathgoda police station. Following interrogations, another suspect was arrested in Hunupitiya along with 15 grams of heroin, a sum of over Rs. 35,000 and 3 mobile phones. The suspects are both residents of Colombo 14 and they will be produced before the Mahara Magistrates court today (September 16).
