Protests hinder investment opportunities

Colombo (News1st) - Economic Analysts have pointed out that frequent protests have hindered investment opportunities in the country. Professor of Economics at the University of Colombo, Sirimal Abeyrathne said that foreign investments have been reduced when compared to last year (2017). He further noted that the country is facing a major economic downturn as a result of protests.
