COLOMBO (News 1st) - Japanese Defence Minister, Itsunori Onodera is expected to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow for a two-day official visit.
This is incidentally the first occasion on which a Japanese Defence Minister is visiting Sri Lanka. During his visit, he will be holding discussions with the State Minister of Defense, Ruwan Wijewardene and other government leaders.
Onodera is also expected to undertake field visits outside Colombo.
The Embassy of Japan hopes this visit will further help to consolidate the “Comprehensive Partnership” between Japan and Sri Lanka.
