Renovation of the Mudatthawa Wewa commences under auspicies of PM

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The renovation of the Mudatthawa Wewa, under the Government's Gamperaliya program, commenced today. (July 15) The event was held under the auspices of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Ministers Mangala Samaraweera, S.B. Navinne and Akila Viraj Kariyawasam also graced the occasion. Minister of Finance & Mass Media, Mangala Samaraweera stated that this country has democracy and development today like no other country in the world. He also continued to say, that Ministers are being caught today even before the charges are proven and that in the past, there was a time that they clung to their ministries even if the charges were proven and that the man who did the accusing would disappear.
