Colombo (News1st) : Prime Minister of Thailand General Prayut Chan-o-cha, who is on a two-day official visit to Sri Lanka visited Kandy today (July 13th).
This morning the Thai Prime Minister held discussions with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees. The discussion was based on Economic Corporation, Trade and Investments.
Thereafter the visiting Prime Minister made his way to Kandy. General Prayut Chan-o-cha also planted a sapling at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
The Thai Prime Minister and his delegation visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and were accompanied by President Maithripala Sirisena. He then inspected the Thailand section at the Temple of the Tooth Museum following which we called on the Mahanayake's of the Malwathu and Asgiri Chapters of the Siam Sect.
