Polling card 'mysteries' explained

COLOMBO (News1st) - It was reported that some voters have received polling cards which states that the voter had died.

The Elections Commission stated that if the voter is still alive, then the voter can prove their identity at the polling station in order to cast their vote. Such polling cards were reported from the Trincomalee District and the Nuwara Eliya District. It was also reported that some polling cards mention that the voter is not residing in Sri Lanka.
