Justice Mayadunne Corea Sworn In as Acting President of the Court of Appeal

COLOMBO (News 1st); Justice Mayadunne Corea has been appointed as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal.

The appointment has been made due to the overseas visit of Court of Appeal President and President's Counsel Rohantha Abeysuriya, who is expected to remain abroad until September 24.

The President's Media Division stated that Justice Mayadunne Corea took oaths today in the presence of the President as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Presidential Secretariat this morning.
