Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne Is The New Army Commander

COLOMBO (News 1st); Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne has been appointed as the new Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
Defence Secretary Air Chief Marshal (Retired) Sampath Thuyacontha said the appointment was made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The appointment came as Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo completed of his tenure as the 25th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army.
