Parliament To Debate No-Confidence Motion Against Justice Minister Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Parliament is scheduled to debate the no-confidence motion against Minister of Justice and National Integration Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara today.
The opposition has brought the motion, alleging the Minister failed to prevent the Negombo Prison riot.
The motion was handed over to the Speaker on July 22.
The debate is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today.
