Suspect Arrested with Over 5kg of Heroin in Mattakkuliya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect has been arrested in Ferguson Road, Mattakkuliya, with 5 kilograms and 140 grams of heroin.
Police also recovered Rs. 50,000 in cash, suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking, along with two mobile phones believed to have been used in the operation.
The suspect is a 40-year-old resident of Colombo 10.
Mattakkuliya Police are conducting further investigations
