UGC Begins Allowance Payments for University Students with Disabilities

COLOMBO (News 1st): The University Grants Commission (UGC) states that the payment of the 5,000 rupee allowance for university students with disabilities has commenced.
Its Vice Chairman, Professor Wasantha Liyanage, stated that a decision was made to pay a monthly allowance of 5,000 rupees to disabled students in universities starting from last January.
Accordingly, the Vice Chairman mentioned that the payment of this allowance, including the arrears, has begun from this month.
