Fatal Shooting In Galle Leaves One Dead

COLOMBO (News 1st);A person has died in a shooting that incident occurred this morning at Dickson Junction in Galle.

The deceased is a 43-year-old resident of Ahangama. 

Police stated that he is known to operate businesses and offer loans on interest.

Police also said that the shooting occurred while the deceased person was leaving the rented house in Galle where he was staying.

It is mentioned that the shooting was carried out by individuals who arrived in a red-colored motor car.

Five police teams have been deployed to arrest the suspects.
