Political Shift at CMC as Three Opposition Members Declare Independent

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three councillors representing the Joint Opposition at the Colombo Municipal Council have declared themselves independent.

Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazaar confirmed that councillors Mansil Mohamed, Indhika Sanjiva Liyanage and Sunanda Liyanapathirana have decided to function as independent members of the council.
