60 Foreign Nationals Arrested in Kollupitiya Over Suspected Cyber Crimes

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have arrested 60 individuals, including Vietnamese nationals, while they were staying at a building in the Kollupitiya area, on suspicion of involvement in computer-related crimes.

The arrests were made during a raid carried out this (6) afternoon by officers of the Kollupitiya Police.

According to police, the suspects were taken into custody based on suspicions that they were engaged in computer crimes.

Further investigations are currently underway.
