Cabinet approves Five MoUs between Sri Lanka and Vietnam

COLOMBO (News 1st): Cabinet approval has been granted for the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Vietnam and Sri Lanka.

The agreements are expected to be signed during the official visit of the Vietnamese President on May 7, at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The MoUs will focus on:

Cooperation in the fields of information and communication technology, 
Cultural collaboration, 
Development of Religious affairs, including the promotion, protection, religious practices, values, and education.
Cooperation in science and technology
Cooperation in Police Training
Cooperation in Scientific research.
