Minister Affirms Government is Successfully Managing Energy Crisis

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Environment, Dr. Dhammika Patabendi, says that the government is effectively managing the ongoing energy crisis despite significant global challenges.

He added that while national development faces significant hurdles particularly due to global conflicts beyond control the government is successfully navigating the challenges at hand. 

He noted that essential measures have already been implemented to prevent any domestic energy shortage and ensure that public services remain uninterrupted. 

Patabendi emphasized that the nation can overcome these obstacles and continue its progress by working together with a unified purpose.
