Mandatory Display of Revised Bus Fares - RPTA Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Western Province Road Passenger Transport Authority (RPTA) has announced that it is mandatory for the revised fare tables to be displayed inside all buses for the public. 

According to the Chairman of RPTA Gamini Jayasinghe, raids will commence this Monday to identify operators who fail to display the fares.

The authorities will cancel the bus service license and impose of heavy fines for buses found in violation of this requirement.
