COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Director of Sri Lanka’s State Intelligence Service, retired Army Major General Suresh Salley, has been admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo following a medical condition.
Major General Salley was hospitalised after falling ill.
At the time of his admission, the former intelligence chief is being questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) under a detention order.
The questioning is taking place in connection with investigations related to the 2019 Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.
