Postal Deliveries To Be Carried Out Every Other Day - Department of Posts

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Posts says that the delivery of postal parcels will take place every other day.

Deputy Postmaster General Premachandra Herath says that the decision was taken as a measure to address the ongoing global fuel crisis. 

Accoridngy, long distance postal delivery from Colombo to will take place everyother day, on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. 

Postal deliveries will take place covering the areas from Colombo to Jaffna through Vavuniya, Colombo through Polonnaruwa to Batticaloa, Colombo to Badulla and Colombo to Kandy. 

Deliveries from long-distance areas to Colombo and suburbs will also take place every other day accordingly.
