COLOMBO (News 1st): The U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia and the U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, who is currently visiting Sri Lanka, met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (19).
According to President's Media Division (PMD)discussions between the President and the U.S. Special Envoy at the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Sri Lanka.
PMD confirmed that President Dissanayake has further outlined Sri Lanka’s position on the evolving conflict in the Middle East and the challenges the country is facing in light of the situation.
