COLOMBO (News 1st) - Public comments on the tariff revision proposal submitted by the Ceylon Electricity Board for the second quarter of this year will commence on the 25th of February.
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said it will accept both written and oral submissions until the 18th of March.
The consultation process will cover all nine provinces.
The Electricity Board has sought approval to increase electricity tariffs by 13.56 percent for the second quarter of 2026, from April 1 to June 30.
