22-Hour Water Cut for Several Areas in Kandy

COLOMBO (News1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced a 22-hour water cut in several parts of Kandy, starting today.

Accordingly, water supply has been halted from 6:00 AM until 4:00 AM tomorrow. 

Thereby, The water supply will be suspended in areas served by the reservoirs and regions in the 
Asgiriya Municipal Council area, Wegiriya and Pallemulla (New and Old),Yatihalagala, Kondadeniya, and Rajapihilla Service Reservoir, Medawala (New and Old) Service Reservoir, Kahawatta, Kurugoda, Bulugohotenna, Girakaduwa, Kahalla, Telambugahawatta, Nugawela, Balanagala, Galagedara, and Mawatagama areas. 

The shutdown was announced for essential maintenance work.
