COLOMBO (News1st): The committee appointed to investigate the environmental damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah will submit its preliminary report to the Minister of Environment today.
The nine-member committee, including experts in the field, was recently appointed by the Minister of Environment.
The committee is tasked with conducting an in-depth study on the impact of Cyclone Ditwah on the country's river systems, forest network, and mountainous topography.
The final report is expected to be submitted within the next six months.
