Education Ministry to Introduce New Safety Guidelines for Digital Learning

COLOMBO (News 1st); A decision has been made to provide guidelines to facilitate a safe digital education environment for students.

Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Madhura Senevirathna, says that Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya—in her capacity as the subject minister—discussed this matter with members of the Digital Task Force.

The Deputy Minister added that during the discussion, several recommendations were presented, including a range of factors to be considered across digital education platforms.
