COLOMBO (News1st): A special plan for disaster management has been prepared to minimize the impact of potential natural disasters during the conduct of the remaining subjects of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The plan is being implemented through a special joint effort by the Department of Examinations, the Disaster Management Center (DMC), and the Tri-Forces.
The Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari, says that the plan was developed taking the prevailing rainy weather conditions into consideration.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner General also briefed students on the procedures they should follow in the event of a disaster occurring during the examination period.
