Australia Commits Additional $2.5 Million for Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government of Australia has announced that an additional aid package of $2.5Mn Australian Dollars for Sri Lanka's recovery efforts in the wake of the destruction caused by cyclone Ditwah. 

This brings the total financial aid provided by the Government of Australia to $3.5Mn. 

The Government of Australia have also pledged support and stated that Australia will be working with UN Partners to reach those most affected from the disaster and assured that Australia stand with Sri Lanka during these trying times.
