Homagama Drug Bust Linked To Dubai Asanka’s Network

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Kelaniya Division Crimes Investigation Unit has arrested four individuals in the Wekanda area of Homagama, seizing a significant quantity of illegal drugs.

The haul includes:

1.5 kilograms of heroin
680 grams of crystal methamphetamine (commonly known as "Ice")

Among the arrested suspects is a 22-year-old woman, while the other three are men aged 22, 25, and 34. 

Police also took into custody two motorcycles allegedly used for drug transportation.

Authorities revealed that the suspects are believed to be close associates of the notorious drug trafficker known as "Dubai Asanka".
