Students Gear Up for A/Ls as Schools Close for Holidays

COLOMBO (News 1st); The first phase of the third school term in government schools across Sri Lanka will conclude tomorrow, marking the beginning of the end-of-year school holidays.

According to the Ministry of Education, the holiday period will run from November 8 to December 7, allowing students and teachers a break before the final phase of the term resumes.

Meanwhile, the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to take place from November 10 to December 5, a critical period for thousands of students preparing to enter universities and higher education institutions.

Following the exam period, the second phase of the third term will be held from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 19, before schools close for the year-end break.
