COLOMBO (News 1st): The Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) reports that the Lanka Government Cloud services have been restored to approximately 50 percent functionality
The outage affected more than 40 government institutions, including the Registrar General’s Department, the Pensions Department, and the Police Department, disrupting a range of online services.
Digital Economy Advisor Sumudu Ratnayake stated that the restored services will be available to the public for use from tomorrow, and that ongoing checks are being conducted to ensure full functionality.
The Information and Communication Technology Agency also confirmed that the incident did not result in any data loss or compromise any security protocols.
