Unit to Fast-Track Foreign Employment Complaints

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has established a new Special Investigation Unit aimed at accelerating complaint resolution and strengthening efforts to prevent human trafficking. 

The unit will operate in close coordination with the Sri Lanka Police.

The initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of the Bureau in handling grievances related to foreign employment, while also addressing illegal recruitment practices and exploitation.
