Husband Surrenders After Allegedly Killing Wife

COLOMBO (News 1st); A tragic incident was reported from the Rendapola area in Mirigama, where a man allegedly murdered his wife following a domestic dispute.

According to police sources, the suspect attacked the 33-year-old woman with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death. 

After committing the crime, the husband surrendered to the Mirigama Police.

Initial investigations suggest that the motive behind the murder was a family-related conflict.
