Suspect Arrested Over Maradana Shooting

COLOMBO(News 1st);A person has been arrested on suspicion of shooting and killing a man in Kovilwatte, Maradana.

Police said the suspect was taken into custody on St. Sebastian Mawatha, Keselwatte, on charges of aiding, abetting, and conspiring to commit the murder.

The 46-year-old, a resident of Colombo 12, was arrested based on information provided by another suspect already in police custody.

On the 6th, an unidentified individual who arrived in a three-wheeler opened fire and killed a man.
