President Anura Kumara Dissanayake Meets Maldives Deputy Speaker And Cabinet Ministers

Colombo(News 1st); President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met with the Deputy Speaker of the Maldives and five Cabinet Ministers today (29) at the Kurumba Maldives resort for discussions.

The President held discussions with the Deputy Speaker Ahmed Nazim, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed, Minister of Defence Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon, Minister of Finance and Planning Moosa Zameer, and Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan.

The Maldivian leaders expressed confidence that this visit, marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations, would pave the way for deeper cooperation, broader understanding, and stronger ties in the future.
