Regional Stability Opens Doors for Sri Lankan Workers in Israel

COLOMBO (News 1st) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arun Hemachandra said that with the security and political situation becoming relatively stable, steps will be taken to send Sri Lankans for employment opportunities in Israel.

He also said that efforts will be made to re-establish the Sri Lankan Embassy in Tehran, Iran.

The Deputy Minister added that he is working closely with diplomatic missions, institutions, and stakeholders in those countries to facilitate these initiatives.

Arun Hemachandra expressed optimism that, with regional stability improving, Sri Lanka may attract more tourists from Middle Eastern countries.
