Fuel Reserves Sufficient for Two Months - Energy Ministry

COLOMBO (News 1st) -The Ministry of Energy says that Sri Lanka has sufficient fuel reserves to meet national demand for the next two months.

Secretary to the Ministry, Professor Udayanga Hemapala, said that all three foreign companies operating in the local fuel sector have confirmed adequate supply levels for the coming months.

He further noted that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation also has sufficient reserves to cover the same period.

Additionally, the Ministry confirmed that fuel shipments ordered through Singapore are scheduled to arrive on time.
