COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara confirmed that a Sri Lankan woman was injured in an airstrike carried out by Iran on the Israeli city of Bat Yam. He added that her condition, however, is not critical.
Meanwhile, another Sri Lankan woman, who was working in a home in Tel Aviv that was damaged during a separate attack, has safely been relocated.
She is now in a secure location along with the family she was staying with, Ambassador Bandara confirmed.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel is actively monitoring the situation 24/7.
Ambassador Bandara has urged all Sri Lankans residing in Israel to remain in designated safe zones at all times.
