Drowning at Kala Wewa: One Dead, One Missing

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 22-year-old man has drowned while swimming in the Kala Wewa.

Sri Lanka Police Have also commenced search operation is to locate a 47-year-old woman who was also reported missing. 

The incident occurred when a group from Wanathawilluwa went swimming in the reservoir. 

The Navy has been called in to assist with the ongoing search efforts.
